These shoes are very lightweight and comfortable EXCEPT for the arch support... I think this is an indicator more of my arches than these shoes, but I have very flat arches. These shoes apparently have very good arch support, but they hurt because my arches are too flat for them... its taken 5-6 wearings of these shoes for the shoes to relax and fit my arches better... the first time I wore these shoes, I could only wear them for about an hour. I could go for longer periods each successive time after that.

These arent as light as the 2013 models but they arent significantly heavier. Some might relate heft as a more valuable product which is what I have chosen to do. My 2013s would get holes by the pinky toes because I would play soccer in them. These dont seem like they would have that problem because the front top of the shoe is more of a rubbery material vs fabric like the 2013 models. They are a stylish pair of shoes that fit true to size but I did feel like they were slightly narrow width wise by my toes. It does not make them uncomfortable. It is probably because they are new. Instead of tying my shoes every time I like to slip them on and off to save time. Im assuming this will cause them to loosen up some and make them perfect. At the time I bought them the prices fluctuated between colors. Im assuming more popular colors such as black and white, cost more because of that reason. You would expect the prices to remain the same for every color like at a shoe store but hey were shoppin

One of the best Running shoes ive owned in my entire lifetime, i just bought a pair of nike free 5.0 100 dollar shoes, and it wasnt as good as these shoes. The shoes itself provided outstanding support and i could feel it rock me forward while running, and are very durable (lasted me for more than half a year and i run at least 25 miles a month and i use it on a daily basis for regular wear). My suggestion is to try these shoes out at the store first then buy it online cause shoe sizes arent really universal for most shoe brands. All in all, Nike flex brand is a really good shoe , Ive bought the Nike Flex 2014 last year and they were great so i just had to buy the same brand again, provided the same exact great support, with a different design. I will continue to buy this shoe as long as they keep it as is cause its already perfect.

I have been running in Nike Flex Run shoes for years now. In my view, these shoes provide the ultimate running experience. The reasons I prefer this shoe over any other are as follows:1) The model has remained consistent over the years. For at least 5 years there have only been cosmetic changes made to the shoe; the core shoe has remained the same. This is crucial for experienced runners because once we find something that works, we dont want to have to change every time we need a new pair! Thanks, Nike!2) NO GIMMICKS. No "air" technology. No weird fabrics. No proprietary plastic inserts. No "grids," no "gel," no stupid stuff. No gimmicks. Just a well designed running shoe, so you get all of what you want and none of what you dont.3) Good support. I have very high arches, and so I always need a good basic shoe structure. The Flex Run delivers. Best of all, the insert is made of form-fitting gel, so after one or two runs, the shoe molds to your foot. Perfect comfort.4) Excellent balance
