Update 05/27/16: Ive been going to physical therapy for the plantar fasciitis and the physical therapist said these particular shoes do not have the support that the condition requires of a shoe. So if you are looking for a shoe to help treat PF, this is not the one for you.I purchased these shoes after being diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. Previously I was wearing Nike, which at the time I wasnt aware that they are among the worst rated for arch support. Anyway, I bought these and my feet felt better immediately. Not perfect, but enough where I can walk (im on my feet all day) and my feet arent hurting like they did with my Nikes. The only thing I will say is that I have issues with the top of the shoe with my orthotics in. Im not sure if its the actual tongue of the shoe or the way that the shoe is built on top, but it feels like it digs into my foot. Mind you, ive never had to buy special shoes in the past in regards to fit or anything. It almost feels as if the construction of th

New Balance Womens WX711V2...I bought both of these super cute shoes for my trip to NYC, knowing I would be doing alot of walking. I wore them brand new spent all day in them and we walked almost 5 miles all over the city and never had any issues. I have wide feet and high arch, I was worried they would be narrow, based on reviews. They were great! Comfy and love the design!!!

I really LOVE the look of these shoes - the mint green accents with the heathered green/gray top looks awesome. But thats where my love for these shoes ends. They are very comfy in terms of squishy-ness (lots of padding) so they would probably be good for wearing around all day in that respect. But there is very little arch support and I find that I pronate a lot in these shoes just when walking. (I have very high arches, so maybe its just me.) Theyre fine for gym training, havent tried running in them. The second downside of these shoes is breathability - they dont breathe. Maybe good for fall/winter, but for working out in the summer this is a no-go. My feet *never* sweat, and they were sweating in these shoes, even when I was wearing thin cotton socks. And my feet were HOT. I think the top panel being made of jersey-like material has something to do with this, I doube this would happen with the mesh-topped ones. Finally the tongue rubs the top of both of my feet. The design of the ton

The New Balance 1080 is a wide, comfortable, stable shoe for "Medium pace runners" ( = slow heavy runners). The V6 redeems the shoe and fixes the V5 toe box issue. In the past year I have started experiencing foot problems. The start of some plantar fasciaitis, some arch collapse, heel pain. Tried expensive insoles, super stiff expensive support shoes, went to a podiatrist who seemed to be most interested in maxing out my insurance plan and HSA.Fresh Foam is a godsend. I am 66" and 280lb with skinny wide feet and high arches, and as I get older, quality shoes with the proper fit are now a necessity. I have a few pair of very supportive shoes that are quite quickly very uncomfortable and I feel like im stepping on hard rubber with no insole. I also have comfy pillow shoes that offer no support and result in strains and soreness. These perfect the balance of support and comfort. The foam bed does not collapse yet retains its shock absorption. If there are any negatives to this shoe, they a
