I feel torn about these shoes. I bought them ideally for running, but may end up just using them at the gym (short runs, weight lifting, etc.) as theyre not as "squishy" inside as Id hoped. In addition, while the arch support isnt terrible there isnt much there. My very favorite running shoes are currently a pair of worn out New Balance W720V3, but I thought Id try a different shoe that appealed to me more aesthetically. This pair feels sturdy and did not require breaking in (no rubbing against the back of my heels or toes), but the foot bed just isnt as comfortable as my favs. Im really terrible at figuring out what type of running shoe I need for my running style, so these probably just arent the correct fit for my foot for that purpose. However theyve been pretty darn comfortable for low-impact gym use and I can walk quite a while in them comfortably, so Ill hang on to them.
