These shoes fit like a glove. As soon as you put them, you want to run...and run fast. They are extremely light weight. The only thing I dont love about them is that they are advertised as max cushioned on Sauconys website (which Im sure they are), but they do feel a bit firm, so not sure how Ill feel about them on my longer runs (over 8-10 miles), but for any shorter, faster runs I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Im a heavy runner (220+ lbs) and prefer light, neutral, minimal shoes. I love Kinvaras, but the outer third of the forefoot turns to spongy mush before they hit 100 miles. This has been my experience through over a dozen pairs, model 2 through 5. I liked the Cortana as a cold weather shoe, but I otherwise found them too hot, too heavy, and too soft in the wrong places. For me they didnt complement the Kinvara well, causing too much fatigue during longer runs.Ive almost broken in my first pair, and the Zealot is like the love child of the Kinvara and Cortana. The best of both. Theyre a little firmer than Cortanas, and with a better distribution of cushion in the mid- and fore-foot area. They have a light airy upper, more like the Kinvara. The construction of the outer forefoot of the outsole is somewhere in the middle, and weight savings makes this compromise a non-issue.The durability of my particular trouble spot is TBD, but thats an issue due to my weight and style. I expect to get a

Ive been running in Saucony shoes for a few years now, going through 2-4 pairs a year. I have tried multiple pairs from just about every major shoe brand and find that I like Saucony the best (with Brooks and a close second, but Saucony is starting to pull away). That being said, the Zealot is the best shoe Ive put on in a long time, maybe ever. The fit is great, Sauconys fit my foot well to begin with and the Zealot doesnt let down. It is very light, but has great cushion. Perfect for the long days. I alternate shoes throughout the week and have been using these on my longer days, putting in 10-15 mile runs with them once a week, and 6-8 mile runs in on a couple other days. So far I have no negative comments. They seem to be holding up very well. The outsole seems to be holding up to the miles, without a lot of wear yet. I will be more interested to see hoe the midsole holds up. The shoe is very light, but has a lot of cushion. I worry that the cushion will break down faster than norm

These are great shoes for at least this beginning runner. They are super cool with the neon colors and I could really tell the difference from my Nike Free Runs with the level of padding. I will admit I had Nike brand bias until I kept getting bad shin splints and a bad hip flexor, but after switching to a more padded shoe like the Saucony Zealot I have experienced far less discomfort during my runs. My only problem is with the inside sole being all yellow vs. the outside having the cool fade to black however that is strictly aesthetic and doesnt really affect how much I like running in this shoe.
