These are great shoes, I like the color (very dark navy color is almost black in the light). I wear them to the gym and while out on jogs. The tread is open which prevents too much dirt and debris from getting tracked inside. I am a fan of these shoes and recommend them.

[Edited to update experience with returns, new sizes]Overall, I have been a big fan of the Kanadia line. I wear them to referee soccer games and as everyday walk-around shoes. So I ordered a half-size larger as Ive done for Kanadia versions 4 and 5. HOWEVER, this new version, Kanadia 7, is the opposite size of earlier models: The 9-1/2 I just received is nearly a whole size too big for my foot. This new model does feel lighter than the previous ones (just as adidas describes), and the black-on-black version that I ordered is darker than I expected it to be. It looks great -- perfect to referee soccer games in -- and feels like it will be comfortable. If you wear Kanadias like I do, you may want to order your "regular" shoe size instead of your "Kanadia size." Im returning this new pair for a smaller size and will update...UPDATED (2/12): My wife just tried on the pair we bought for her -- says they are more comfortable than the Nike shoes she usually wears. Curiously, she thinks her pa

Most of the reviews on here seem bloated and complex. These are very basic trail running shoes. They do the job for the price. I love them even though I know I could buy something better. Im a male and where a size 11, ordered a size 11, and they fit fine. I do basic trail running on forest park trails. No arch support but I kind of like that because I can feel the trail. In summer I might even try buying or making a pair of huaraches (minimal running sandals). I find myself wearing them a lot going to the store, etc. They even look cool too. Worth buying.

I own the Kanadia Trail 3, which I like a lot. I wore them on fairly rugged trail runs and hikes as well as for everyday use. They held up very well and actually just have a small tear and worn tread and are still wearable for general use. The old shoe required me to go up half a size from my normal running shoe. The Kanadia Trail 7 did not, as others have mentioned. On to the Kanadia Trail 7. Apologies for not knowing the technical terms for the components Im describing. I like the look and the reduced wright, but they dont seem nearly as rugged as the old shoes. The tread on the version 3 (on the right in the photos) were made of two materials. The green material was a durable cleat-like structure in the tread. Version 7 is a single compound. Adidas website says the current design helps prevent mud buildup, and as you can see this is an issue in version 3. The version 3 shoes had been washed and then I went out on one short trail run a few hours after a rain, and you can see mud stick
